Chocolate Crunch Banana Pancakes

Saturdays or Sundays would be even better if you started your day with these delicious pancakes made from scratch.  So easy, yummy and very tempting!

Ingredients

1¼ c. flour, you can mix white and whole wheat if you prefer

1 T. sugar

2 t. baking powder

½ t. salt

½ t. cinnamon

1¼ c. low-fat milk

1 small ripe banana, mashed

1 egg, lightly beaten

1 t. vanilla

½c. BodyCrunch chocolate flavor whey crunchies

Prep

Combine all dry ingredients, except BodyCrunch in a bowl.  Stir in milk, banana, egg and vanilla.  Add Chocolate BodyCrunch. You may use the natural flavor, if you prefer.  Spray non-stick griddle and heat on medium.  Pour batter onto griddle and cook until tops are bubbly.  Flip over and cook until golden brown.  Spray pan after each batch and adjust heat accordingly.  Now is your time to get creative.  Before serving, lightly butter and sprinkle pancakes with powdered sugar or drizzle with maple syrup, chocolate syrup, etc.  Garnish with fresh berries and serve up an attractive and delicious breakfast treat.
