Healthy Fats.   A “must have” macronutrient.

Healthy Fats are crucial for fueling your body with the much needed energy to perform life’s day to day tasks.  The use of healthy fats in your diet is encouraged and optimal for general health.  These healthy fats must be raw and complete from plants. 

Include these types of Healthy Fats

  • Raw flax seeds or Flax seed oil
  • Raw seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
  • Raw nuts (almonds, cashews; unsalted)
  • Avocado
  • Light Extra virgin olive oil

Avoid these types of Fats

  • Fats from animals
  • Processed fats such as hydrogenated oils
  • Fats exposed to high heat like deep fried foods
