“The happiest people don’t necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the most of everything.” This quote hits me hard, every single time I read it. We are only here for a short period of time. Don’t wish away your days, expecting better ones ahead. Enjoy your life now, and make the most out of every moment. You are going to regret looking past those little moments in your life, so I’m preaching to you now, EMBRACE those little moments, because looking back on it all you may realize they were the big things.
You would have never guessed my favorite day of the week would be Sunday. Most people look at Sundays as the day right before the dreadful Monday, or the day that marks the end of the weekend. As for me, I see it as the day the family gets together, the day where I can just sit back and watch football all day, and the day where I reflect on all that I am thankful for. Nothing beats sitting around the fresh smell of barbeque and spending good quality time with the people that mean most to you in this world.
I cannot stand my job, I absolutely hate it, but if you ask anyone I work with they would tell you otherwise. I go into work with the mentality of, I can either be miserable here for eight hours, or I can turn this eight-hour shift around and make it feel like a four hour. Time fly’s by when you are having a good time. I walk around my job with the biggest smile on my face, and I am always trying to bring laughter to someone. I do this because I hope it will turn someone’s day around, even if I only am able to flip one person’s day around that is enough for me. To be able to bring happiness to someone brings me such joy.
